Arturo Vidal is eager for football to return after the coronavirus-enforced pause of LaLiga Santander.

The Chilean spoke of his delight to be back on the training ground with his Barcelona teammates and is determined to continue his incredible run of domestic successes.

"It has been an incredible joy to come back," he told Barcelona's official channels.

"These two months locked up were quite long.

"You enjoy being out on the field with your colleagues a lot, they are very nice experiences to live.

"Now we are doing very well, we are facing some very important months."

Vidal is thrilled to welcome Luis Suarez back to the squad, who had originally been set to miss the rest of the season through injury before COVID-19's interruption.

"It is very important for us to have Luis [Suarez] back, and the other injured players, because there are two intense months ahead with many games in a row," he stated.

"We need to be at 100 percent for the two competitions that are at stake.

"All the teammates look well, with great desire. We have all returned looking very well physically, we have been training from home."

A major change when football returns for the remainder of the season is the fact that there will be no supporters in attendance, but Vidal feels it is important to focus on the challenge at hand.

"I like to connect with the fans, I feel good and have a lot of joy and enthusiasm [with them], but we have to adapt and take advantage of all the training session we have and achieve our goals," he mentioned.

"These 11 games are going to be 11 finals, we are all clear that they will be very difficult.

"We do not have to trust ourselves, we must think about winning and do it in the best way."

The Chilean has an incredible domestic record across the various clubs he has represented and is aiming for a ninth consecutive league win which spans back to his Juventus days.

"It would be a dream to win nine leagues in a row, achieving a record across so many championships is very difficult, but I still feel good to continue fighting and winning trophies," he said.

"Few players have done it in history and I am proud. "

"I hope to win the ninth here with Barcelona."
