Frenkie de Jong is delighted to be back working with his Barcelona teammates again and thinks they'll be physically ready to play again in a few weeks.

During the break, the midfielder had spent time back in the Netherlands and had been working alone, but is appreciative of the return to normality since starting to train with his teammates.

"I feel good," De Jong said on his own form.

"I did some training in the Netherlands to get in shape.

"It's good to be back on the pitch now.

"I feel good, but not ready to play right now.

"But in a few weeks we'll be ready to play again."

One of the positives of the return to training for De Jong has been being reunited with his teammates.

"We hadn't seen each other for two or three months, which is a long time," the Dutchman added.

"Returning from a holiday or another break is always good and it usually only lasts three or four weeks.

"This time we're talking about almost three months, so it's really nice to see each other again.

"I think everyone feels pretty good."

The Bundesliga are leading the way as they have already returned to action without fans and the Barcelona midfielder has been watching on with interest.

"I saw Borussia Dortmund against Schalke," he said.

"I was happy to watch football on TV, but it's clear that you feel different without fans.

"They produce a special atmosphere and make everything better.

"Hopefully it will only have to be this season without them so we can enjoy games with them again."
