Inter would be interested in signing Samuel Umtiti as part of Barcelona's deal to bring Lautaro Martinez to the Camp Nou, but only on loan.

Barcelona's pursuit of Lautaro is a complicated one and, given their financial situation, they could have to include players in the transfer.

According to Calciomercato, Inter would like Umtiti to be one of those players, but they're not willing to sign him permanently.

Barcelona value the defender at around 30 million euros - a figure that Inter wouldn't be willing to match.

The Italian side have doubts over the centre-back's injury problems and are, therefore, only looking to sign him on loan.

As well as Umtiti, Barcelona have reportedly offered the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Nelson Semedo, Junior Firpo and Jean-Clair Todibo to Inter as they look to pay half of Lautaro's 111m euro release clause in cash and half in players.
