The civil chamber of the supreme court has sided with Barcelona in the legal dispute between the Catalan club and Muro Cortina Modular Publicidad SL.

The company was demanding 99.3 million euros from Barcelona, claiming that a contract - concerning advertising space on the wall of the La Masia building - has been broken.

Yet the company did not put LEDs on the building, nor did they come up with a single proposal from any interested advertisers, and their case has been dismissed.

It has been declared that Barcelona had no contractual obligation to collaborate with Muro Cortina Modular Publicidad SL in the search for possible advertisers.

The company had already taken the case to court twice before and Barcelona won out on both those cases, just as in this third case at the supreme court.
