Messi, Suarez and Griezmann: Barcelona's MSG, the 100-goal trident
After REM, MSN and MSD, Barcelona have a new fearsome frontline in their ranks now - MSG - consisting of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann, who form a frontline capable of helping the Catalans to 100 goals next season.
It remains to be seen whether or not Neymar will make his way back to the Camp Nou this summer, while Ousmane Dembele also faces uncertainty. Philippe Coutinho meanwhile has had the doors opened for him to depart.
Whatever happens from here on, the front three could well hit 100 goals this term.
In 2018/19 they combined for 97, in 2017/18 they grabbed 105, while in 2016/17 they bagged 117. But the best season they've enjoyed came in 2015/16, when Messi scored 41, Suarez 59 and Griezmann 32 - the best records of the latter two - totalling 132 goals.
Getting them on the same pitch together is something that hasn't been seen before though, and Ernesto Valverde will have to find a way to make it work.
In LaLiga Santander alone, should they find the right system, they could grab 80 goals themselves which, in 2018/19, would have been more goals than any team other than Barcelona managed.
The 131 reached in 2015/16 - with Neymar adding 31 goals to the aforementioned tallies - broke Real Madrid's front three's total from 2011/12 when they grabbed 118.
Messi, on the other hand, has hit 100 goals twice before, but with different teammates.
In 2011/12 he did it with Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas (103 and 73 for Messi), while in 2008/09 he did it with Samuel Eto'o and Thierry Henry (100 and 38 for the No.10).
