Lenglet: Postponing El Clasico was the best option due to the problems in Barcelona
One of the main talking points of the past week has been the postponement of El Clasico, something Clement Lenglet was asked about after Barcelona's 3-0 win over Eibar.
Barcelona won't have a fixture next weekend and the Frenchman thinks that moving the match to a later date was the right call.
"I have only been living in Catalonia for a while, so can't say much," he said on the political situation.
"The problems that there are in Barcelona mean that postponing the match is the best option, but the decision was one for those in charge at LaLiga and the Spanish FA.
"We don't decide anything.
"I want to play El Clasico on any date.
"We have to play it whenever it ends up taking place."
Discussing the football, the centre-back spoke about his long ball towards Antoine Griezmann that turned into the assist for the opener.
"We always work on bringing the ball out," he said.
"We had a clear plan and did things well, looking for the forwards so that they could beat the defenders.
"We had a complete performance from the start to the final.
"I'm very happy.
"I think this was our best match away from home this season, for the result and for the way we played.
"Eibar didn't have many chances, while we had several."
