Cillessen: I want to forget this year as quickly as possible
Jasper Cillessen has admitted that he'd rather forget about the season gone by as he prepares to decide his future in the coming weeks.
Cillessen was in goal for Barcelona during their Copa del Rey final defeat to Valencia and also played for the Netherlands as they lost the UEFA Nations League final to Portugal on Sunday.
"This is the second final I've lost in a small amount of time, it hurts," the goalkeeper said.
Cillessen has been linked with a move away from Barcelona where he has spent the last three years as back-up to Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
"I have to take a decision with my agent. But first, I want to have a rest," he said of his future.
"In general, it's been a difficult season with little game-time, various injuries and lots of trips.
"And I've lost two finals. I want to forget this year as quickly as possible."
Barcelona have received numerous offers for the Dutchman but won't let him go for under 40 million euros.
